This guy just gets up in the middle of the night and leaves us. No dear John no nothing.

I see Mario Veit is a 2-1 dog to Charles Brewer. It'd be nice if you would get your ass back here Tony and let us know what you think of this since none of us have ever seen Veit fight before. Unless the guy was on a Rahman undercard in Baltimore back in the day. The fights in Germany too and he's still a dog.

Glen Burnie

Speaking of the Spinchmeister, did you go to that card in Glen Burnie on 9-30?

sorry i`m so late...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

me....

"i know what brewer brings to the table.....aggressiveness...height...power....willingness to take chances......poor whiskers.....

any veit info?....is this 44-1 record bogus?......also very tall...more of a boxer,i would guess....and it would be a guess...i see that calzaghe whacked him in one...

anybody have anything on veit...he`s a considerable dog fighting at home....

thanks.. "

reply...

"Yes it is a bogus record, he got a gift against Salem who is very crude at best. Veit's defence is poor and I think Brewer should win here.

The major issue for me is how much does Brewer have left, if he is in the same form as when he fought Calzaghe then he will win by stoppage."

hello everybody

Tonymontana is still alive.
I just was busy with other things and didnt play boxing in a long time.
I wanted to let you in on my latest play which was Releford against Castillo but couldnt log in. Shame nothing like a fat dog you like, i saw the kid against Dimitrenko and he was the first opponent who put up a fight against Sacha.
He is going the hard way no build up with easy opponents and he is only 22.
Dimitrenko is fighting purrity today by the way anything other than a ud for dimitrenko would be a surprise.

But now to the task at hand :
veit is a stand up fighter pretty tall and european style boxer long hands from the outside but no power and kind of stiff a little bit like the klitschkos defense wise. He has a solid double defence but cant move to well and is just stannding there with his hands up, not a good strategy against a banger like brewster who can hit as hard as anybody in supermiddle way.
Veit doesnt like to be pressured and Brewster will pressure him and he cant move in and out like Ottke.
Veit is no bum, good condition and work ethics and tall but if Brewster is well prepared he will take him out but if the fight goes the distance be aware that this is a Kohl fight wbo and if it goes the distance veit has a chance.
Not the best fight to bet one. i would go with the under 9 and a half at plus money. Could be short and ugly. Brewster looks good at weigh in.

good luck

Veit via tko in round nine. Just the right time. Veit was very strong and had Brewer down in the second and had him hurt in every round but couldnt get him out of there.

Veit was moving better and used a very stiff and accurate left jab to HURT Brewer and followed up with nice hard right hands. Brewer took a terrible beating as is often the case if a fighter has no real ko power but lands clean right hands after right hands.

Brewer should hang them up.
Not what i have expected nor predicted but still a win.
